Jim Lu, MD, PhD—President & CEO, Medical Director
Jim Lu, MD, PhD, is founder and CEO. He focuses primarily on business development while he is also involved in GI/Liver Pathology cases, and assisting in the R&D molecular developments. Jim is dedicated to GoPath’s clients and their patients, even making himself available for consultations on any case. Jim received his MD degree from Wannan Medical College, in Anhui, China.  He then studied at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, earning his PhD in Molecular Medicine.  He successfully completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in GI/Liver and Transplant Pathology and has been practicing in his area of expertise for nearly 15 years.

Yousef E. Tadros, MD, FCAP, FASCP- Director of Urologic Pathology and GU Quality Assurance 
Dr. Yousef E. Tadros, MD, FCAP, FASCP, is the Director of Urologic Pathology and GU Quality Assurance for GoPath Laboratories. Dr. Tadros has taught as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Medical College of Georgia and has been an Instructor of Urology at Tulane University. He is certified by The American Board of Pathology in both Surgical and Clinical Pathology. Dr. Tadros had two urologic pathology fellowships from major institutions: Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and AFIP in Washington, DC. He has 10 years of experience in Urologic Pathology as well as has written for many publications in the same field. Dr. Tadros is an active member in organizations such as the International Society of Urological Pathology, American Medical Association, College of American Pathologists, and United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and College of American Pathologists.
Maria G. McIntire, M.D., Director of GI & Liver Pathology
Dr. McIntire received fellowship training in gastrointestinal and liver pathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Before that, she completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She is American board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and has more than 10 years of experience in that specialty. Dr. McIntire has also written articles for many publications in the same field and has held various teaching positions including acting as an instructor of Immunology, Microbiology and Pathology at Harvard Medical School. In addition, she is an active member in organizations such as the College of American Pathologists, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.
Zhongmin Guo, MD, PhD — Director of Molecular Diagnosis  and Development
Zhongmin Guo, MD, PhD, is the Director of Molecular Diagnosis  and development.  Dr. Guo directs the operations of the Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory and Office functions at GoPath Laboratories under the direction of the Medical Laboratory Director, Dr. Jim Lu. Dr. Guo manages workflow, maintains CAP policies and procedures, and oversees all molecular development within GoPath Laboratories. Dr. Guo received his MD from Guangdong Medical College, China, and received his PhD degree in molecular biology and cancer biology at Uppsala University School of Medicine in Sweden. Soon after obtaining his PhD degree, Dr. Guo began his post-doc fellowship training in the Department of Otolarynology Head and Neck Cancer Research Center at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine with special focus on cancer genetics, epigenetics and cancer translational research. Dr. Guo has also had an extensive research career at both the University of Maryland School of Medicine and Indiana University School of Medicine. He is an active invited reviewer of several international peer-reviewed journals including, Plos One, Molecular Cancer Research, and Cancer Letter and Annals of Surgical Oncology. Dr. Guo has more than 15 years of experience in clinical and academic laboratories and he brings a unique area of expertise in both cancer research and methylation to GoPath Laboratories.
